Seeley, Swan and Blackfoot artists open studios to the public on Tamarack Festival weekend
Self-guided tour provides opportunity to visit and meet renowned working artists.
Alpine Artisans’ Tour of the Arts will be held Saturday and Sunday, October 11th and 12th,
10 am to 5pm. This self-guided tour of 12 artist studios, galleries and museums leads you on an enchanted journey through the Seeley, Swan and Blackfoot Valleys of Western Montana.
The Tour of the Arts is an opportunity to visit the artists in their studios, meet them immersed in their passion and see them at work. Visitors will be welcomed into their artist lifestyle, learn firsthand about their art and hear their stories of creation.
Tour maps are available in Seeley Lake at the Grizzly Claw and Visitor’s Center, in Condon at the Mission Mountain Mercantile, at participating galleries and museums and online at http://www.alpineartisans.org.
From the Flying Popcorn Ranch in the Swan to the Brand Bar Museum in Ovando and on to Roasted in Lincoln, the brilliant scenery and superb artwork makes the Tour of the Arts a unique and exciting experience.
